Miss My's Favourite Oscars 2014 Dresses

Yesterday the Oscars 2014 took place. Fashion wise this is one of the highlights of the year. Actresses have had their personal trainers on speed dial and I have a feeling there have been some unhappy spouses of dieting actresses. But extra exercise and dieting have paid off as I saw a lot of beautiful dresses worn by equally beautiful women. It's always hard to pick a favourite but this year my favourite dress and overall look was Cate Blanchett's. Here are my favourite dresses of the Academy Awards 2014.

And this year Finnish women attended the Oscars due to the nomination for the short film 'Pitääkö mun kaikki hoitaa?' (Do I have to take care of everything?), yay! Director Selma Vilhunen, screenwriter Kirsikka Saari and actress Joanna Haartti were flying the blue and white flag for Finland and even wore dresses designed by Finns. Go Suomi!

Chris Hemsworth's Heavenly Malibu House

Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, have just bought a beautiful house in Malibu. From Paul Hogan a.k.a. Crocodile Dundee no less.

The house has ocean views, vaulted ceilings and a guest house. Normally I am not a big fan of grey as a kitchen or wall colour but in this house it really works. I love how they have created a little office off the kitchen. I also love the shelves next to the fireplace in the living room, the wood panelling and those little seating areas in front of the windows with the ocean views just make me want to move right in with them. Perhaps Chris and his wife are looking for a nanny/personal assistant/gardener/pool boy? If so, then I better update my c.v. a.s.a.p.!
